It seems as though fiber optic systems are here to stay, replacing copper wire as the preferred method of cabling for communication and signal transmissions. For those not in the know, this is a confusing change, especially if you do not understand fiber optics. This change is because of several reasons, as fiber optic systems have the upper hand in speed, bandwidth, distance, resistance and maintenance.
