World of Warcraft Horde Leveling Guide

If you’re just starting out in WoW as a newbie, or if you’re just starting a new character, you’ll most likely want to level to level 80 as fast as possible. In this article I share some tips and tricks to help you do exactly that.
This article is titled as a Horde Leveling Guide. It will work just as well as an Alliance leveling guide however.
Lesson One – Forget about Grinding
Some people swear that grinding is the quickest way to get to level 80. I’ve been playing WoW since its launch and have experimented with grinding – I can guarantee you that grinding is not the fastest way to get to level 80.
Lesson Two – Questing is the Path to Success
Quests are without a doubt the fastest and most effective way to level a character. They are not purely in the game to help with the story line, they are designed to help players get to level 80 and earn money and new equipment along the way.
The key to leveling is questing. It really is that plain and simple. You will level 10 times faster by questing than you will by mindlessly grinding away.
The following are a few ways you can maximize your questing:
1.) Fill your quest log
You will gain much more experience in the long run by keeping your log as full as you can.
2.) Finish as many quests as possible before turning them in.
This maximizes your time spend in proportion to the experience gained.
3.) Use a Scorched Earth policy
When you are doing the last quest required to fill your log, kill your way from the quest giver to your 1st objective, then do the same to your next objective. Repeat this until you’re ready to turn in your quest. This will give a nice boost to your experience and will also make you some money along the way.
4.) Rest and Relaxation
When you are ready to log out, do so in an inn or a capital city. The rested experience you’ll get accrues much more quickly in these two places than it does in the wild. Furthermore, the 200% experience that it gives you is priceless if you want to level quickly.
5.) When Quests get tough – Move around
There will be times when you have completed most of the quests in an area but the ones you have left are too hard. In this case you need move to an adjacent area where quests may be easier. You can return later and finish the quests in the present zone.
At the end of the day, leveling in WoW is not difficult. All that’s required is a little persistence and common sense. By following the simple tips I’ve mentioned above you’ll be passing through the levels in no time.
